Lieutenant-Colonel Raymond H.A. Carter presents us with intervention techniques in pairs, proven in the field by police officers in various countries. After a brief presentation of European penal codes and rights, we will study leading away techniques, arrest, control and cuffing in the cases in which the individual in question obeys, offers resistance, or when armed, all of that with the help of empty hands techniques and the use of regulatory equipment such as the telescopic baton or tonfa. Procedures that allow for the total control of the aggressor from the beginning of the attack to his immobilization for cuffing and leading away to a secure location with maximum security.
