To directly learn in a traditional context the Kali/Escrima/Arnis, mainly means to dominate the use of the arms, including the knife, the sword and the dagger, or the sword. In this 2nd volume dedicated to the Philippine Martial Arts, Guro Bob Dubljanin approaches the category of arms of the Olisi Balaraw, well-known like "Sword and Dagger" or Cane and Dagger, true axis of these Arts. We will study the work of Dawat (to receive), Agaws (to disarm), Kunsi (to immobilize), Palisut-sut (traditional exercise of fluidity), Kuntradas to Kunsis (examples of cons in front of cons), and finally the substitution principle, that demonstrates the flexibility characteristic of the Philippine Martial Arts.
