The Applied Techniques of Command Sambo

Command Sambo, literally "combat Sambo," is a highly practical martial art designed for combat, integrating throwing techniques from sport Sambo with dangerous techniques such as joint locks to wrists and ankles, strikes to vital points, and other combat-oriented methods. Developed to address close combat in military operations, it includes defenses against all types of attacks and methods for counterattacks. Originating from Japanese jujutsu and incorporating elements from various ethnic martial arts and self-defense systems of the former Soviet Union, Sambo is said to encompass over 10,000 techniques.

This work focuses on practical scenarios in combat, showcasing numerous applied techniques of Command Sambo. It compiles many advanced techniques of the martial empire that are lesser-known.
